Personally . . .In 1978, my husband Steve and I honeymooned in Harbourtown. Like so many before us, we fell in love with the Island's sugar sand beaches, rhythmic surf, majestic oaks, legendary golf and gentle "winters". We dreamed of living "Island style" for the rest of our lives. Unfortunately we returned to Cleveland but dreamed of Hilton Head. Then in June 1982, our dream came true, Steve accepted a position with an Island law firm and the beautiful South Carolina lowcountry has been home ever since! We consider ourselves truly blessed to work, play and raise our son in such a beautiful place! During our 15+ years Island tenure, the Bird family has either resided or owned property in 9 different areas including: Hilton Head Plantation, Sea Pines, Wexford Plantation, Palmetto Dunes Resort, Moss Creek Plantation, Colleton River Plantation, downtown Bluffton, Belfair and Gascoigne Bluff. I'm not so sure about Young but we can certainly be called Restless.

Professionally . . . always a hard worker. I have enjoyed a successful 20+ years in sales and marketing. Of course my first hand knowledge of area wide real estate is certainly helpful but I credit most of my success to people skills. I earnestly listen to customer's needs, wants, desires and then earnestly try to make a match! Treating others like I want to be treated - honestly, respectfully and with directness is the key to any successful business relationship. I love sharing my enthusiasm for the lowcountry with others. Spend some time with me and you'll be living here too!
